The Maple Corner Woodworks beds are designed with a superb platform, eliminating the need for a box spring (although can be made in that style). All beds feature ten wide slats that securely interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails, with side rails joined to the head and footboards using heavy-duty cast hangers. No tools are required for assembly. King and California King sizes include center-reinforced support via a solid hardwood piece that attaches to the head and foot boards, providing full under-bed space without a center leg.
